Cover Reveal: Cody’s Crazy Christmas

COVER REVEAL of my brand-new picture book, Cody’s Crazy Christmas! Mathias, Juanita, and I are super excited to share the cover with you.

Inspiration for the cover

My inspiration for the cover of my latest kid’s book, “Cody’s Crazy Christmas,” came from a funny moment during Christmas. My brother was peacefully hanging out on the couch next to the Christmas tree when suddenly, it fell right on top of him. He tried to put it back up, but it kept falling back down. We chose a massive tree this year, so my husband had to help. It was hilarious watching them tackle the tree back up. Despite their attempts, it kept falling. Finally, they noticed a crack on the tree stand. We ended up leaning the tree towards the wall and tying the top of the tree to the window. I had to capture this moment on the front cover.

This fun story follows Cody and his puppy. Cody had planned to give his parents the most spectacular gift they had ever seen. Everything was going according to plan. First, they created the present, then hid it in their secret hiding spot. But when they returned to get it, the gift was nowhere to be found!

Join Cody and his pup as they learn to navigate through misadventures in search of his parent’s spectacular Christmas surprise in this loving comedic, and fun story.

Your kids will learn about the value of family and the true meaning of Christmas. They will also learn about friendship, teamwork, making good choices, and, most importantly, encouraging children to ask for help when needed.

Sometimes our plans turn upside down, but we can always ask for help when things get a little crazy, especially during the holidays.
