Southern Arizona Book Heroes

We are overjoyed to hear about a non-profit organization, Southern Arizona Book Heroes. They equip first responders, victim advocates, social workers, and child-centric agencies with new books in order to comfort, distract and soothe traumatized children. SABH “provides resources that help treat children’s unseen injuries—their emotional wounds.”

We are honored to be a part of the Southern Arizona Book Heroes Amazon Wish List. We are super excited for our second children’s book, Pumpkin Finds His Feelings. It’s a tale about a Pumpkin who lost his feelings. Despite his stuck-on smile, he can’t feel happy, sad, or anything at all. Follow him on his journey to find his feelings and meet a few friends that try to help him along the way. This story not only helps kids learn about different feelings but also encourages them to accept their feelings and emotions.

This book is for those who have struggled to find or accept their feelings. It’s okay to feel scared, it’s okay to feel angry, it’s okay to feel sad, it’s okay to feel. Feelings come and go. Instead of pushing them away, we can embrace and have gratitude towards each one. Emotions and feelings make us human and feel alive.
My goal for this book is to not only help children learn about each emotion but also help them observe, feel and accept each one.
